Description

These chromatic exercises are designed to help you develop coordination between your left and right hand (i–m–a), improve finger independence, and gain full control across the entire fretboard.

The set includes 38 basic exercises, which can be expanded by practicing them in different positions across the fretboard, allowing for continuous technical development.

The exercises follow a progressive structure and can be used as a daily warm-up routine or as a technical study for beginners.

What you’ll practice:

Left hand finger independence (1–2–3–4 combinations)

Right hand coordination (i–m / i–a / m–a alternation)

Position shifting across the fretboard

Consistency, control, and accuracy

Tip:

Start slowly and focus on clean sound and relaxed movement. Increase the speed gradually only when you feel in control.

Description

This text is intended to provide a clear and progressive guide to the study of music theory, with particular emphasis on its practical application to the guitar.

Many guitar students begin their journey by focusing primarily on the technical aspects of the instrument. However, understanding the principles of music theory allows them to develop a more complete understanding of music: notes are no longer simply positions on the fretboard, but become part of a logical system made up of intervals, scales, chords, and harmonic relationships.

The chapters are organized progressively and can also be studied separately. However, it is recommended to follow them in the proposed order in order to gradually build a stronger understanding of the topics covered.

After studying each chapter, immediately test your knowledge.

Understanding does not simply mean remembering a definition, but being able to correctly recognize, connect, and apply the concepts you have studied.

For this reason, the book is accompanied by a dedicated quiz app, “Guitar Theory Trainer,” available on the stores through the Max Music Studio page and organized according to the same chapter structure.

Each topic is accompanied by a set of multiple-choice questions that will help you consolidate what you have learned before moving on to the next topic.
